List of things to bring for live fire:
- Handgun
- At Least 2 Magazines For The Handgun.
- Ammunition For Live Fire Practice (150-200 rounds for new applicants) (50 rounds for renewal) (set aside 30 rounds for qualification test)
- Baseball Cap, Hearing Protection, & Safety Glasses (Sunglasses and prescription glasses are acceptable).
- Hiking Boots or Similar Footwear (Dress for an outside environment).
- Water & Snacks.
- Lawn Chair (optional).
- Sunscreen (optional).
- To receive a completed course certificate, students must pass, with a score of 70%, on each of the written test and qualification test.
- Should the student not pass the written test, the student is still invited to participate in the range portion of the class.
- However, the student will not not receive the passing course certificate.
