New Applicants – 8 Hours Training (4 Hours Classroom, 4 Hours Range)

Renewal – 4 Hours Training (2 Hours Classroom, 2 Hours Range)

Classroom

Bring your handgun to class but NO LIVE AMMO!
 
You must bring your own handgun (preferably the one you will be using for conceal carry).

List of things to bring for live fire:
  1. Handgun
  2. At Least 2 Magazines For The Handgun.
  3. Ammunition For Live Fire Practice (150-200 rounds for new applicants) (50 rounds for renewal) (set aside 30 rounds for qualification test)
  4. Baseball Cap, Hearing Protection, & Safety Glasses (Sunglasses and prescription glasses are acceptable).
  5. Hiking Boots or Similar Footwear (Dress for an outside environment).
  6. Water & Snacks.
  7. Lawn Chair (optional).
  8. Sunscreen (optional).
  • To receive a completed course certificate, students must pass, with a score of 70%, on each of the written test and qualification test.
  • Should the student not pass the written test, the student is still invited to participate in the range portion of the class.
  • However, the student will not not receive the passing course certificate.
